Coelogyne suragenense, award number 20114458, has been determined to be Coelogyne vanoverberghii by SITF (May 2014).

There is no valid nomenclatural combination of "Coelogyne suragenense." The plant shown is likely an undescribed species from Mindanao (Philippines), that has been known for many years under other provisional and unpublished names. There are a number of color variants being cloned by division, which go under other unpublished Latinized binomials, including a pale variant marketed under the name "C. salverianum." A classic case of horticultural commercialism abusing scientific validity.
