Bulbophyllum macraei

Six attractive flowers in an umbellate arrangement on a 25.5 cm inflorescence grown in a 6cm pot; pseudobulbs ovate, clustered, leaves oblong, obtuse, flowers with adherent sepals separating with age, gracefully curling at apices; sepals pale gold suffused pink, suffusion more prominent on dorsal sepal reverse; petals dusty rose; lip yellow; column pale yellow; anther cap yellow; substance firm; texture matte.

Bulbophyllum macraei (Lindl.) Rchb.f. in W.G.Walpers, Ann. Bot. Syst. 6: 263 (1861).
This name is accepted.
Distribution:     E. India, Sri Lanka, E. Himalaya to Japan (Yakushima, Taneyasima)


Bulbophyllum macraei  award 20122643 , has been confirmed to by Bulbophyllum macraei by SITF (Dec 2012).
