Vanda falcata Nangoku-no-mai



"Eighteen fasciated flowers on elongated pedicel on three inflorescences, plant 27-cm by 15-cm grown in a 10-cm moss ball in a slotted pot: flowers present up to 15 floral segments; sepals and petals un-differentiated; flowers white, lavender proximally; un-opened flower segments form chartreuse clusters apically; up two 3.7-cm spurs on mature flowers, white suffused light lavender; substance firm; texture matte; sepal, petal and lip measurements not available; commended for rarity of flower form. (falcata hort. var. Nan goku-no-mai)"

Vanda falcata 'Nangoku-no-mai', award 20141349 has been determined to be Vanda falcata by SITF (Jan 2015).
