Cryptocentrum calcaratum determined to be Cryptocentrum latifolium





 Cryptocentrum calcaratum, was granted an 82 -point CHM and was granted the clonal name ‘Laura’. Award number 20161814 was used for the CHM.

Nomenclature:

Cryptocentrum calcaratum (Schltr.) Schltr., Orchideen Beschreib. Kult. Zücht.: 449 (1914).
Homotypic Synonyms:
* Pittierella calcarata Schltr., Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. 3: 81 (1906).
* Basionym/Replaced Synonym
Heterotypic Synonyms:
Cryptocentrum costaricense Schltr., Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. 10: 389 (1912).

Cryptocentrum calcaratum, award 20161814, has been determined to be Cryptocentrum latifolium by SITF (Nov 2016).
