Thrixspermum saruwatarii

Thrixspermum saruwatarii

Seven glistening white flowers and 91 buds on 34 lateral inflorescences
to 9cm long produced on a 9-cm monopodial, epiphytic plant of five
seperate clumps on a 35-cm stick; sepals and petals faintly spotted
brown basally, veined brown; deeply saccate lip marked brown, interior
striped red-brown; substance firm; texture crystalline; recognized for
rarity in cultivation; origin: Taiwan; identified by: Lee, Yung-I PhD.

Thrixspermum saruwatarii been confirmed to be Thrixspermum saruwatarii by SITF (May2010) with assistance of Yung-I Lee.
