Angraecum panicifolium


Award #20098000, Angraecum panicifolium 'Kenzie', CBR/AOS, awarded in Nashville October 31, 2009. – Atlanta Center – Aileen Garrison Chair.

Measurements (cm):  NS 1.2 x 0.8
                                DS 0.2 x 0.5
                                Pet 0.1 x 0.3
                                LS 0.2 x 0.5
                                Lip 0.2 x 0.5

Description:  Four flowers and one bud on five axial inflorescences produced on diminutive 8.5-cm plant grown in 5-cm pot; alternate lanceolate leaves 2.9-cm long, hard, minutely papillose; flowers white; substance hard; texture crystalline; recognized for charming, diminutive growth habit within a remarkably diverse genus; species native to Madagascar; identified by Philip Cribb.

Angraecum panicifolium Award #20098000, has been confirmed to be Angraecum panicifolium by SITF (Nov 2012).
