Description: Forty-nine flowers and 19 buds on 11 hirsute inflorescences plus 24 buds on 11 hirsute immature inflorescences; flower bract hirsute, green; flowers chartreuse with maroon hairs on reverse; lip chartreuse, centrally striated maroon, margins flushed maroon; column chartreuse flushed maroon; anther cap white; substance firm; texture satin; fragrance reminiscent of celery. Native to Borneo. Awarded for interesting growth habit and whatever Patricia says.



Trichotosia ferox Blume, Bijdr. Fl. Ned. Ind.: 342 (1825).
This name is accepted.
