391 flowers and 409 buds on 9 inflorescences borne on a plant 15 cm in diameter; very well grown in a 6.5 cm plastic pot; pseudobulbs conical, clustered, 3.8 x 1.1cm; leaf elliptical, acute, 15.5 x 5.3 cm, petiole 5.5 cm; flowers spiralled around pendulous raceme; translucent salmon colour; substance firm; texture crystalline. Origin possibly from Philippines, exhibitor to confirm from importer.

Dendrochilum propinquum.# 20095003 has been confirmed to be Dendrochilum convallariaeforme Schauer var. convallariaeforme by SITF (Jan 2009), with assistance from Jim Cootes and Henrik Pedersen.
This already has lots of awards and is even listed under this variety.
