erect 47-cm inflorescence from a 17-cm tall terrestrial plant; leaves
lanceolate, glossy, clearly veined; dorsal sepal and petals united
around column; lateral sepals spreading, prominently marked white
distally; lip white, nectary large, inflated, pink; recognized for
rarity in cultivation; origin: Taiwan; identified by: Lee, Yung-I PhD.
Erythrodes blumei been confirmed to be Erythrodes blumei by SITF (May2010) with assistance of Yung-I Lee.
