Maxillaria cymbidioides Dodson, J.T.Atwood & Carnevali, Orquideologia 20: 267 (1997).
This name is accepted. Ecuador (Imbabura)

The attached plant, #20103895, was awarded a CBR as Maxillaria cymbidioides on May 9, 2010 by the Cincinnati Judging Center. The plant was seen at that time by Dr. Eric Christenson, Janice Yates

Maxillaria cymbidioides, award #20103895, has been confirmed to be Maxillaria cymbidioides by SITF (June 2010) with assistance of Eric Christenson
