Sobralia biflora Ruiz & Pav., Syst. Veg. Fl. Peruv. Chil.: 232 (1798).

This name is accepted.
Sobralia bifora, award 20104879, has been confirmed to be Sobralia gentryi by SITF(Oct 2010) with assistance from Eric Christenson.
