Twenty flowers on two inflorescences and 19 buds on 2 immature inflorescences; plant 28cm wide by 13 cm high in a 6cm square plastic pot; leaves to 2.5 cm wide by 20 cm long, heavy substance suggests a tetraploid; sepals and petals curved back, smooth edged, yellow darkening to orange on proximal margins and base; column wings burnt orange; substance firm; texture matte.
Dendrochilum cootesii ,
award 20131106, has been confirmed to be Dendrochilum
cootesii by SITF (March 2013).
