Paphiopedilum purpuratum var. album confirmed as Paphiopedilum purpuratum





Paphiopedilum purpuratum f. album O.Gruss & Koop., Orchid Digest 72: 130 (2008), contrary Art. 37.4 ICBN (2006).This name is a synonym.

Accepted Name: Paphiopedilum purpuratum (Lindl.) Stein, Orchid.-Buch: 481 (1892).

Paphiopedilum purpuratum var. album, award #20132893, has been confirmed to be  Paphiopedilum purpuratum by SITF (Jan 2104).
