Description:
Seventy flowers and 205 buds on three branched, arched inflorescences borne on a 55 cm wide and 60
cm tall plant grown in bark in a 20 cm plastic pot; leaves linear, 3.3 cm by 56
cm, pseudobulbs ovate, smooth, round 4.0 cm by 11.0 cm; flowers star-shaped,
white, chartreuse basally; lip sharply recurved, midlobe shield shaped overlaid
light pink; anther cap darker pink, crest four-toothed; substance firm, texture
matte; flowers become chartreuse as they age.
Origin Sierra Nevada. Recognized
for its educational value.
