Description:


Two non-resupinate flowers on two pendant inflorescences; sepals and petals green veined faint burgundy; petals and lip translucent tan veined burgundy centrally; column burgundy grown on stick in sphagnum moss in 11 cm. plastic basket; texture matte, substance thin.  Country of origin Colombia.  Recognized for its educational value.

Telipogon ortizii, award 20151925, has been confirmed to be Telipogon ortizii by SITF (Feb 2016).
